Bamboo Grove

Tall green culms swaying in a bamboo grove, leaves drifting through the light

You stand on a mossy path inside a bamboo grove, among tall jointed culms that sway gently while flecks of sunlight flicker down through thousands of narrow leaves, and loose leaves twirl past on the breeze. The time and date can be cut into the nearest culm like an old carving. It follows your clock: a misty green dawn, bright dappled noon, a gold evening, and at night pale moonlight in the mist with one warm window far off. Move the mouse to stir the canopy, click for a gust that sends leaves spinning, and with music on the light flickers and the culms sway with the bass.
