A real photograph of a green sea turtle (honu) gliding over the reef at Pearl and Hermes Atoll in Papahanaumokuakea, brought to life: caustic light dances across the reef and the turtle's shell, the turtle strokes slowly with its flipper and rises and settles with each stroke, the reef wavers through the water and shafts of sun drift through the blue above.
