Ice Cave

Deep in a blue glacier cave, meltwater dripping, the entrance blazing white

You are standing deep inside a glacier, its walls covered in scallops of ice that glow turquoise where the daylight soaks through the thin roof and sink to deep blue in the thick walls beside you, layered with old grit and bubbles. Drips swell on the icicles and fall ringing into the meltwater stream, which winds over a floor of glassy, rippled blue ice to the blinding white entrance; the wet ice and its still pools mirror the glowing roof, and the light dims and brightens as clouds pass outside. It follows your clock, rose at dawn, white and cold by day, amber at dusk and lit by a green aurora at night. Move the mouse to hold a lamp to the ice and ripple the pools; click to send a ring of light through the glacier; with music on the bubbles in the ice glint and the icicles sparkle along with the tune.
