Little Bookshop
A cut-away corner bookshop on a rainy evening, as a tiny isometric diorama
A little two-storey corner bookshop-café sits on its own block of street like a model on a table, its front walls cut away so you can see inside: tall shelves of books, a spiral stair, a reader in an armchair under a lamp, a cat asleep on the window seat and steam curling from a cup, while rain falls on the street and rings spread in the puddles. It follows your clock: grey window light by day, the lamps coming on one by one at dusk, and at night just the reading lamp and the cat. Move the mouse to hold an umbrella over the rain and warm the lamps nearby, click to ring the shop bell and wake the cat, and with music on the books on one shelf lean out in time like a little equaliser.
