Night Fairground

A Ferris wheel and carousel glowing over a fair at night, in chalk pastel

A summer fair at night drawn in chalk pastel on dark paper, the grain showing through the shadows and the lights pressed in bright and smudged into glows: a Ferris wheel turns with its gondolas hanging level, a carousel's horses rise and fall, festoons of bulbs sway and the crowd's heads glow against the stalls. Move the mouse to wave a sparkler, click to send up a firework; with music on the bulb strings dance to the spectrum, the wheel's rim pulses with the bass and the carousel lights flash on the beat.
