Open Water
A sea nettle drifting through sunlit blue water, shot like a nature documentary
Eight metres down in the open ocean, a golden sea nettle pulses slowly through the blue, its long tentacles streaming behind it as shafts of sunlight fan down through the water and caustics ripple across its bell. Others drift by in the distance, softened by the depth of the water. The light follows your clock, from slanting golden mornings to a noon glare and a dark night when its tentacles stir sparks of plankton. Move the mouse to push the water and set it rippling; click and the jelly startles. With music on the light shimmers with the bass, and at night the beat runs sparks of light down the tentacles.
