Rainy Plant Corner

A cosy corner full of houseplants on a rainy afternoon, rain on the big window

A reading corner in a city apartment on a rainy afternoon, painted like a gouache illustration: a monstera, a snake plant, pothos trailing from the shelf, hanging planters and a little terrarium crowd round a big window where rain beads and runs down the glass over the soft grey city, while a lamp glows by the armchair and a mug steams under a knitted blanket. It follows your clock: grey morning light, a dim rainy afternoon with the lamp on, a blue evening as the city lights come on, a warm lamplit night. Move the mouse to wipe the raindrops off the glass and to brush past the plants, which sway as you go; with music the lamp and the fairy lights on the shelf glow along.
